Bio:

Born 1963, Duluth, Minnesota

Jeff Bark lives and works in New York. Bark’s series of elaborately constructed photographs depict contemporary urban motifs, such as the debris of American consumerism with an opulent, Dutch master quality of light and tone. Bark creates mysterious tableau, exploring exterior and interior, myth and desire. In fall 2010, Hasted Kraeutler exhibited Bark’s newest body of work, “Lucifer Falls”.

Jeff Bark is represented in the United States exclusively by Hasted Kraeutler.
